Fiona

I recently had the pleasure of rescuing a gorgeous English Bulldog from R and D Bulldogs Rescues and More.  I can not say enough about Leigh, she is an amazing person. She is passionate about rescuing and finding these babies the perfect home they deserve. She is there for you 24-7 regardless of what she has going on in her personal life. My Fiona came fully equipped with anything you could ask for, from bed to toys and everything in between.  Leigh, you are one of a kind and my family and I would like to thank you for choosing us to be Fiona's new family!

Willa

I can’t say enough kind words about working with Leigh and R and D Bulldogs. Last February, Leigh connected me with my current best friend in the entire world, Willa! As I began my search for an English bulldog, I found R and D bulldogs online. I filled out an application and stayed in touch with Leigh through email and via instagram hoping a match would come available. Throughout my search Leigh was responsive, always there to give me updates and answer any questions I had. Finally, in February she posted pics of a new dog that was coming available for adoption named Willa. I knew it was the right fit. I immediately contacted Leigh. She answered any questions I had and within 2 weeks I was at her house picking up Willa. She provided me with everything I needed to get Willa adjusted to her new home including a bed, leash and harness, and a starter supply of food and wipes to clean her wrinkles. She was in constant contact with me over the first few days answering any questions I had. Even after having Willa for almost a year, I still text Leigh with any questions I have and she is always there to answer them. She has a wealth of knowledge about this breed. Her kindness and true love for these animals is unmatched. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Leigh and R and D Bulldogs to anyone interested in this breed!

Terry Scott

I started following Leigh years ago on social media and fell in love with her love for bulldogs. I came across Terry Scott who was up for adoption and I knew had to have him!! Leigh was so helpful with the transition and still checks in on him! I fully believe she was made to do this work.
Terry Scott is definitely living his best life!

Lana

I love Leigh, what else is there to say?

This is Lana the "retiree". & her friend Jordan, who she adores.

Leigh was so easy to work with, she takes such great care of all the pups she gets in her care. She makes the process easy and I appreciate how kind she is while having to vet the new owners to ensure they get the right fit.

Lana has been such a gift to my family and friends who all adore her, Leigh made sure she passed along any important, honest information along with answering questions after she was in my home. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a pup to contact Leigh, she is a very special person who truly loves them all.

(P.S. I trust Leigh so much I drove 10 hours to pick my girl up).

Lulu

I met Leigh through a friend who had known her for years and her and her family had adopted both bulldogs and French bulldogs through her. I had a 3 year old Frenchie (Lulu) myself and was struggling with both the financial aspects of having her (and past health issues) and some behavioral issues.

I felt very lost and the last thing I wanted to do was surrender Lulu. After corresponding back and forth with Leigh for weeks, we made a plan that she would help me to re-home Lulu. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made but I knew long term it was best for both of us.

After making the trip to meet Leigh and drop Lulu off, I knew she was in excellent hands. Leigh is a wonderful soul and had great experience and understanding with Frenchie’s and bulldogs alike.

After spending some time at her home, she found a great candidate who was interested in adopting Lulu. She kept me in the loop through the whole process - that really helped me. I was able to connect with Lulu’s new mother and we talk weekly, if not more. I still feel so connected to her, even from afar.

I cannot thank Leigh enough for helping re-home my baby and supporting me through the process. I will forever be grateful to her!

Babette

The day I met Leigh and Babette was a day I will never forget. Leigh welcomed me into her home with open arms to meet Babette and the moment I laid eyes on my sweet Babette she stole my heart.

She was the most happy, sweetest thing.  She came up to me and was like, "you are my human." Leigh knew we would be a great match for each other and said we could bring her home the following week.

The day we brought her home we all knew our family was complete. Babette has gone everywhere with us, camping, the beach, friends houses just everywhere. She was a family member, my girls truly thought of Babette as their sister. I have shared with Leigh every adventure Babette has been over the past 7 years.

One of the hardest moments was finding out Babette had kidney failure and to let Leigh know. Leigh is an amazing, generous, loving person who has been there for anything and everyone in the bulldog community. After our sweet girl crossed the rainbow bridge we received a special keepsake box from Leigh for Babette's special things. ❤️

I can't thank her enough for letting us give Babette an amazing life.
